clipping.がCam & China、Jeff Parker、Ho99o9、Sicknessら参加のニュー・アルバムをSub Popからリリース

　昨年は3rdフル・アルバム『There Existed an Addiction to Blood』の発表のみならず、メンバーDaveed Diggsが主演を務めた映画『ブラインドスポッティング』（2018, カルロス・ロペス・エストラーダ監督）の日本公開も話題となったエクスペリメンタル・ヒップホップ・トリオclipping.が、ニュー・アルバム『Visions of Bodies Being Burned』を引き続き「Sub Pop Records」からリリース。10月28日（水）に国内盤CD（OTCD-6830 2,400円 + 税）も発売されます。

　『There Existed an Addiction to Blood』と対になる作品に位置付けられた同作には、イングルウッドCAのラップデュオCam & China、現代音楽 / クラシカルのフィールドで活動するパーカッショニストGreg Stuart、2018年の来日公演が好評を博したHo99o9、今年1月に最新ソロ・アルバム『Suite For Max Brown』を発表したJeff Parker（TORTOISE, ISOTOPE 217°）、電子音声現象の研究やCarl Michael von Hausswolff、F.M. Einheit（EINSTÜRZENDE NEUBAUTEN）、Kevin Drumm、故Z’EVらとのコラボレーションで知られるMichael Esposito、Facialmess、Grunt、Prurient、Slogun、WOLF EYESなどとの作品を発表しているノイジシャンChris Goudreau aka Sickness、‎SISSY SPACEKやZola JesusらのコラボレーターでもあるインプロヴァイザーTed Byrnesがゲスト参加。アルバムのラストを飾る楽曲「Secret Piece」では、Yoko Onoによるグラフィック・スコアが用いられているとのこと。発売に先がけ、収録曲「Say the Name」のリリック・ビデオが公開されています。
