peatmosの編集盤『Watching Us With Archaic Smile』をなりすコンパクト・ディスクが発売

　昨年「KiliKiliVilla」よりアーカイヴ・コレクション6タイトルがカセットテープ・フォーマットで発売されて話題となった1995年創業の老舗インディペンデント・レーベル「Clover Records」。そのファウンダー・斉藤正人を中心に結成され、1990年代後半の数年間のみ活動したバンド・peatmosの編集盤『Watching Us With Archaic Smile』（CD HYCA-8068 2,300円 + 税）が3月13日（水）に「なりすコンパクト・ディスク」より発売されます。

　2021年に約20年ぶりのフル・アルバム『quite small happiness』を「galaxy train」から発表して話題となったPervencheの前身としても知られるpeatmos。1996年に米「Sonorama Records」から発売された7"ヴァイナル『Earl Grey Tea』と「Clover Records」からのカセットテープ『mess』（1996）の収録曲、「Cream Cone Records」のコンピレーション『Splash Dive』（1998）への提供曲や未発表曲を網羅する『Watching Us With Archaic Smile』には、1997年に録音された東京・下北沢 屋根裏（2015年閉店）でのライヴ音源10曲を加えた全20トラックが収録されます。
